CruisinSusanAlready Booked your cruise? Now it is time to plan the rest of the trip. I always like to suggest you arrive in your port of departure at least a day before. It takes the stress out of travel, especially if you are non-reving.

There are lots of options to choose from, so when you are looking for a hotel, check out what is the closest to the port, but also look at the nearest landmarks. It is a great way to extend your vacation dollar.

Pan Pacific - VancouverPan Pacific Hotel in Vancouver - this hotel is located right in the Cruise Terminal. You cannot get any closer than that. One of my favorites but it can be expensive during the summer season. Check out the Fairmont Waterfront across the street. Sometime their rates are is slightly cheaper.  A Great Hotel to stay at before an Alaska Cruise. it is also located within walking distants of the famous Robson Street. Summer rates starting at $300 per nite ( Insider tip of the month - Blenz Coffee shops across the street , and on Robson Street has FREE WiFi )

Hyatt Regency MiamiHyatt Regency in Miami - One of our favorite hotels in Miami. I tis located close to the Cruise Terminal but it is also close to Bayside Marketplace. A fantastic place to hang out before and after the cruise. Just a quick cab ride to your cruise.
